Dagmar Hirtz
After studying musicology in Munich, Dagmar Hirtz started film editing
because of her work in a film processing lab and as an assistant
editor. From there, she moved on to direction and production. She
received the German Film Award for editing for Trotta
(1971), Der Richter und sein Henker (1975) and Georg
Elser – einer aus Deutschland (1989). In 1996, the
City of Munich honoured her for her broad and varied activities in the
German film industry. In 2006, she was made Honorary Editor by Film+,
the Cologne Festival for Film Editing and the German Association of
Film Editors.

Geno Lechner
Geno Lechner started her career as a theatre actress and performed in Paris and London. Since 1990 Lechner has mostly acted for cinema productions, amongst others in Schindler’s List. In 1997 she won the award as best actress for Gesche’s Gift in Argentina. Last, Lechner starred in the TV film The Healer.

Muriel Teodori
Keren Yedaya is a committed activist for human rights and women's
rights. She supports Israel's withdrawal from the occupied territories.
Or, her most recent feature film, tells of a dramatic
mother-and-daughter relationship in which the daughter tries
desperately but without success to get her mother to stop working as a
prostitute. The film has won prizes at numerous festivals including
Cannes, Jerusalem and Bratislava. In Dortmund 2005, Ms Yedaya's Or
won the first prize in the International Feature Film Competition for
Women Directors. She lives in Tel Aviv and is currently working on a
new film. |
